Step Two: Apply
Applying to ALIT is simple. You can complete the application in one of two ways.
Through ALIT Application Portal:
ALIT’s integrated application process allows you to fill out the application form directly and complete the process through the application portal.
1: Choose your course and intake
The enrolment options for each course are on the course page. Choose the course you want to study and review the entry requirements. Choose the intake you want to enrol in and click the “enrol” button on the right of that specific intake. Keep in mind that you can only be enrolled in one course at a time, so choose the intake you genuinely want to enrol in.
2: Fill up the online form
The next step is to complete the online form. You’ll need to fill out the form in the specific order. You can’t proceed to the next step if you don’t complete all the mandatory fields. However, you can always come back to change the data until you submit the application.
3: Complete the application and submit
Once the online form is filled, you can review all the details. Once you ensure everything is correct, click on the “submit” button.
In Person:
Students can also apply by contacting ALIT office and directly submitting the application in person. To apply through this process, please follow the following steps:
1: Download the application form
You can download the student application form from the downloads page. Download the form from there.
2: Fill up the form
Fill up each field carefully after going through the form and reading all the instructions. You can digitally fill up the form or print it and fill it out.
3: Submit the documents
Once you are sure that every document is ready and the form is properly filled out, submit all the documents and the filled application form to ALIT office.
Step Three: Application screening
As soon as we get your application, we’ll review it in light of the course’s requirements and determine:
A conditional offer letter and student agreement would be given if all the necessary paperwork or information was not submitted, such as when the SOP was still pending or when the candidate’s interview was still pending.
Step Four: Interview for course entry
An ALIT enrolment officer will contact the student to schedule a time for the Course Entry Interview. If you’d prefer, you can do this over the phone or via Skype at our campus. We shall provide an unconditional letter of offer and student agreement and advise the student to accept the offer if the student is a good fit.
ALIT will discuss the alternate course of action with the agent and/or student if the student’s documentation is incomplete or does not match the selected course(s) entry requirements.
Step Five: Review, acceptance, and payment by the student
The student should carefully read the Unconditional Letter of Offer and Student Agreement to make sure that all pertinent information, including the course fees, duration, and payment schedule, is accurate.
According to the letter offer and student agreement, ALIT will receive and record the proof of payment.
Step Six: Confirmation of Enrolment eCOE
ALIT will send the agent and/or the student an electronic confirmation of enrolment (eCOE) as soon as the payment, Letter of Offer, and Student Agreement have been received and completed.
Pre-Departure
A college student requests a student visa. Contact your agent or go to the Department of Home Affairs website for further information.
The student plans their own travel and lodging. Please refer to our website’s student handbook.
Entry into Australia
Step Seven: Course orientation and course completion
The student begins class after attending the required Orientation. When we email you the Confirmation of Enrollment, we will let you know when your course will start (eCoE). Unless otherwise specified, you must be at the ALIT Campus by 9:00 am on the first day of the course. Then you will be asked to confirm your personal information, including your housing details, contact information (including a mobile phone number and email address), next-of-kin information, Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC), individual needs, and USI requirements, during an induction programme.
