2. Age requirement: 18 years or older
You must be 18 or older at enrolment. The diploma includes work placement and prepares you for case management duties — coordinating services for people in complex situations — which host providers expect of adult workers.
3. Police check and Working with Children Check
Because the diploma includes work placement with vulnerable people, you need a current police check and a Working with Children Check before placement. In Victoria, the Working with Children Check is issued by the Victorian Government, and both are arranged before you begin placement.

4. English language requirement: IELTS 6.0 or equivalent
