Does HLTAID011 include CPR?
Yes. CPR is assessed inside HLTAID011, along with airway management and defibrillator use, so you leave with both first aid and CPR currency.
Do I need previous first aid experience?
No. You need to be 14 years of age or older and physically capable of performing CPR compressions. A short language, literacy and numeracy check runs inside the application.
How often do I need to renew it?
The first aid statement of attainment is current for three years, while the CPR component is refreshed every 12 months.
