Successful completion of this Security Operations Training provides the necessary competencies to apply to Victoria Police Licensing and Regulation Division for a Private Security Individual Licence for the categories of Crowd Controller and Unarmed Guard.

This course is available to students who are able to provide evidence that they:
▪️Have satisfactory numeracy and literacy
▪️Are over the age of 18
▪️Be a fit and proper person. This includes not having any medical condition or
history with police that would hinder your employment within the industry
▪️Have no records of conviction of a disqualifying offence within the previous 10 years
Condition of Entry For international students:
it is a condition of entry that upon acceptance, students provide evidence of having an Australian Student Visa (subclass 500). Students are advised to refer to the government website for information.

Licensing Requirements– New South Wales
▪️Completion of this course is mandatory for obtaining a Class 1 Security Licence in NSW.
▪️Training must be completed within NSW, as it includes SLED-specific assessments.
No RPL (Recognition of Prior Learning):
This course does not accept RPL, though individuals with prior industry experience may be assessed through the Assessment-Only Pathway (with prior SLED approval).
