BEFORE YOU ENROL
Our Education Agents
Some students come to ALIT through an education agent. This page tells you which agents we
actually authorise, so you can check that anyone claiming to represent us really does.
ALIT agents never collect fees.
No agent is authorised to collect tuition, application or any other fee on ALIT’s
behalf. All payments are made directly to ALIT, to the bank account set out in your Letter of Offer.
If anyone asks you to pay them instead, stop and contact us on
(03) 9917 5018 or
info@alit.edu.au.
Currently authorised agents
The following agents hold a current written agreement with ALIT and are authorised to refer prospective
students to us. Anyone not named here is not authorised to represent ALIT.
| Agent | Country / region | Status |
|---|---|---|
| MirandaAupass Pty Ltd | Australia | Currently authorised |
Last updated: 2 September 2026. To confirm an agent’s current
status at any time, contact ALIT on (03) 9917 5018 or
info@alit.edu.au.
Dealing with someone who is not on this list? If a person or business claims to
represent ALIT and does not appear above, contact us immediately on
(03) 9917 5018 or info@alit.edu.au.
We would rather check for you than have you rely on someone we have not authorised.
If an agent’s authorisation changes
We update this list promptly when an agent’s authority changes. If you are dealing with someone who
told you they represent ALIT and they are no longer named above, contact us before you go any further —
on (03) 9917 5018 or
info@alit.edu.au. Checking costs you nothing and takes a minute.
What we require of our agents
Every agent works under a current written agreement with ALIT that sets out how they must behave. Under
that agreement and our Education Agent Management Policy:
- They must represent ALIT accurately. Course details, duration, fees, entry requirements and
outcomes must match what ALIT actually delivers. - We approve their marketing before it is used. An agent cannot advertise ALIT courses with
material we have not seen and approved. - They must not make guarantees we do not make — about employment, migration outcomes, or a
guaranteed fast pathway. - They must handle your information properly, under the privacy and data obligations in their
agreement. See our Privacy Policy. - We review every agent’s performance at least annually, including the quality of referrals and
any complaints, and we document the findings and any action taken. - We do not accept students from an agent engaging in dishonest or non-compliant conduct, and we
may terminate that agent.
Reporting an agent
If an agent has misled you, pressured you, asked you for fees, or behaved in a way you think is wrong, tell
us. You will not be disadvantaged for reporting it, and it will not affect your application or enrolment.
- Contact us — complaints@alit.edu.au,
(03) 9917 5018, or in person at 500 Spencer St, West Melbourne, Melbourne VIC 3003. - Tell us what happened — the agent’s name, what they said or did, and when. Keep any
messages or documents if you can. - We investigate under our
Complaints and Appeals process, with the same
timeframes: acknowledged within 5 working days, with a written outcome within 20 working days. - We act — outcomes range from corrective action with the agent through to terminating the
agreement. Material conduct issues are escalated to ALIT’s governance.
You can also raise agent conduct with the Overseas Students Ombudsman at
ombudsman.gov.au, free
and independent of ALIT.
Common questions
How do I check an ALIT education agent is genuine?
Check the authorised agents list published at alit.edu.au/resources/policies/education-agents/. Only agents holding a current written agreement with ALIT appear there. If a person or business claims to represent ALIT and is not named on that list, contact ALIT on (03) 9917 5018 or info@alit.edu.au before you go any further or pay anything.
Do ALIT education agents collect fees?
No. No agent is authorised to collect tuition, application or any other fee on ALIT’s behalf. All payments are made directly to ALIT, to the bank account set out in your Letter of Offer.
How do I report an ALIT education agent?
Email complaints@alit.edu.au or call (03) 9917 5018. Reporting an agent will not disadvantage you or affect your application. ALIT investigates under its complaints process, and you can also raise agent conduct with the Overseas Students Ombudsman.
