Common questions

Where can I find ALIT’s student policies?

ALIT’s student-facing policies are published at alit.edu.au/resources/policies/. Each page
explains what the policy means in practice and links to the approved policy document behind it, with its
version number, effective date and next review date.

Are ALIT’s policies current?

ALIT’s approved policy documents are controlled through its document management system, with version,
approval and review information recorded for each. The student policy suite is version 2.0, effective
1 July 2026, with the next scheduled review on 1 July 2027. The version and effective date of the source
policy behind each page are shown in the tables above.

Does ALIT publish all of its policies?

ALIT publishes student-facing policy pages covering the principal rights, responsibilities and processes
relevant to students. Additional controlled operational documents covering governance, risk, training and
assessment strategy, workforce and records management are maintained internally and are provided to
regulators on request.

About these policies. ALIT’s approved policy documents are controlled through its document
management system, with version, approval and review information recorded for each. The version shown here
is the source policy version; each page
also records the management decisions that apply to it. If a page and a policy document ever appear to
disagree, tell us at compliance@alit.edu.au — we want to
fix it.

ALIT maintains further controlled operational documents covering governance, risk, training and
assessment strategy, workforce and records management. These are not published because they set out
internal operating procedures rather than student rights, and are provided to regulators on request.
